What can we expect for the reunion of Shahs of Sunset?
Viewers can expect a lot of fireworks during the Shahs’ reunion this year. Part of the fun is that we all hold each other accountable for everything that has happened throughout the season, and we say it to each other’s faces in the most unfiltered way. The cast is placed in the same room for an entire day, as we film the reunion, and that creates a very real and often tense environment for everything to unfold. Tune-in and watch…I promise it’ll be worth it! Lol.
What are top three ‘staple items’ in your closet?
Being Persian, our ‘standard uniform’ is the biggest staple in my closet…black, on black, on black!
How many businesses do you currently have? What are they?
Currently have five businesses, outside of Shahs, that keep me busy including:
F2T Hospitality – a Seattle-based group offering unique ‘farm-2-table,’ food & beverage concepts including Vine & Spoon, By The Pound Delicatessen and Alchemy
Aston Manor – Seattle’s premiere nightclub experience offering premium drinks, state of the art sound/lighting, VIP areas and the world’s best DJs, across three levels
Auction BDI – headquartered in Silicon Valley, specializing in the resale and recycling of consigned electronics equipment
Estate – a Seattle-based retail store and online e-commerce, featuring high-end streetwear and contemporary menswear
Munitio – a high-performance headphones and personal audio equipment company, rooted in music, creativity and design
Would you ever consider doing any producing or directing in the future?
Shahs has been my first journey into television, and it’s been fun learning what it takes to put together an entertaining program. I’ve never thought about getting behind the camera to produce or direct, but I’m definitely not opposed to it!
What is your definition of ‘taking care of yourself?’
To me, ‘taking care of yourself,’ starts from within. I believe in having a consistent workout regime and eating clean, but not sacrificing to the point where you aren’t able to live your life to the fullest. I also think it’s important to ‘turn off’ from everything and take a break/vacation, or even treat yourself to something new. I try to do something for me once a quarter, whether it’s buying something new for myself or getting away for a couple days to mentally relax.
How do you remain innovative as an entrepreneur?
I think the best way to stay innovative is to acknowledge that times change and so does business. To be a good entrepreneur, it’s important to be aware of trends and not be resistant to new ways of approaching your business model based on what the market or consumer thinks is ‘cool.’
What new projects are you working on?
Without giving too much away, my team and I are working on something awesome within the health and wellness industry, specifically in the supplement space. Stay tuned…
