INTERVIEW

1.When did you start acting?

I started acting when I was 5 years old.

2. What is your beauty secret?

Honestly, the thing that always makes the biggest difference is water. I can tell by my skin and how I feel when I haven’t been drinking enough.

3. What is the best advice someone has given you?

I was actually talking to my mom about this today, she always said that “even your worst day can only last 24 hours.” It really puts those crappy days in perspective, soon enough it’ll be over, and things will get better.

4. What kind of music do you like?

I love punk and metal music, actually. And Disney soundtracks, of course. But I love bands like Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Motionless in White.

5.What do you do in your free time?

I love to explore and adventure. I go to Disneyland, like, once or twice a month. And I love to try new things. But on a typical day you can find me vegging-out on my couch, curled up with my dog and binging some great 90’s TV.

6. What was your Karate training like for Cobra Kai?

I had a blast training. The stunt coordinator, Hiro Koda, was so cool and a blast to work with. He made sweating it out over some kick-butt move a complete treat.

7.What was it like Filming in Atlanta?

I had such a great time during filming. Atlanta offered a bunch of great food, but the real pleasure came from hanging out with the amazing cast we had and exploring the city together.

8. How familiar were you with original film prior to filming the series?

I hadn’t seen the movies before auditioning, but by the time we started filming I had watched them all too many times to count. I consider myself a total fan-girl now.

9.Have you had mentors in your life as,that were Miyagi-esque?

I’ve been so lucky to know and work with many amazing people. My mom has always been my biggest cheerleader, of course. And my manager has been more like family to me, he’s my go-to.

10. If you travel to any place in the world where would it be and why ?

EVERYWHERE!!! I love to travel. I even love airports and planes, the stuff everyone dreads. I absolutely want to go everywhere I possibly can. I love learning a new city and culture, and I can’t wait to check more off the list as I go. Big goals are Costa Rica (I am obsessed with Sloths) and Disneyland Paris!
