1. When did you first start acting?
I first started in middle school, but I was terribly shy and had stage fright, so the beginning of my career was bit parts, hidden in the back of the chorus.

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of being an actress?
Advantages? I'd say is that it's such an interesting career and journey. Every day is different, and it is so creative. I couldn't imagine sitting behind a desk all day. I don't think I'm made that way.
Disadvantages I'd say is the volatility of the job. Unemployment can happen at any moment or you have to be available to travel for any given amount of time. Also, you face rejection a lot. The competition is tough and you really have to be at the top of your game, but in order to do that, you have to push yourself. No one is going to do it for you.

3. What’s it like acting on The CW’s hit show, The 100? Who do you play?
It's great! I love the show and The CW. Both are such creative outlets and I couldn't imagine a better place for me. The show is dark but it's so ambitious and it's always trying to push the envelope and a lot of shows don't even attempt that. I love that.
I play the genius, badass Raven Reyes, a zero g mechanical engineer.

4. How would you describe Raven? How alike and unalike Raven are you in real life?
Raven is a genius and is basically the MacGyver of the show. She can build anything and fix almost everything. She is strong, sassy and noble. I love her because she is always trying to do her best for herself or others around her. She pushes herself constantly and I find her will and strength to be incredibly admirable.
I can be like Raven, usually when I'm working out, really pushing myself to outdo everyone else in the room and my past self. Or if I'm completing something difficult, whenever I need to use all of my brain, my Raven comes out.

5. What do you do in your free time?
I love being active and traveling. I really am trying to do all the crazy things in my life while I'm young and have no kids or major responsibilities. I love anything that challenges me or allows me to experience something new.

6.Who is your biggest supporter?
I've been lucky to meet some really amazing girls at our fan conventions who come see me wherever I am all over the world. They are so supportive and really inspire me. My LinzKru!
Also, my best friend Emily Bett Rickards. She constantly inspires me and pushes me to 'be better', which I love. She's a powerhouse of a person and I look up to her everyday.

7. How would you describe your style?
I'm not a girly girl by any means, and I have an athletic body, so anything that is more sporty or cool, I gravitate toward. I don't have the patience for clothes that aren't functional.

8. Best advice ever given?
Believe in yourself. An ex of mine told me that when we finally broke up. I thought it was really profound and something I needed for the next chapter in my life.

 9. Would you ever consider doing any producing or directing in the future?
Actually, yes. I'm going to shadow more of our directors coming up this season, and I did some of that last season as well. I'm in the sponge stage, where I am trying to learn everything and then create my own.

 10. Describe yourself in three words
Creative, strong, real
